Abstract:

To exactly calculate internal resistance value of a secondary battery by considering a memory effect.

A battery unit 2400 comprises a battery pack 2410 consisting of a plurality of battery modules 2412, a current detection circuit 2414 for detecting the current value of the battery module 2412 during charging, a voltage detection circuit 2416 for detecting the voltage value of every battery module 2412 during current measurement, and a battery ECU 2422 connected with the current detection circuit 2414 and the voltage detection circuit 2416 and calculating the internal resistance value of every battery module 2412 based on the detected current value and voltage value.
