To provide a fuel injection control method for an engine improving drivability by suppressing the fluctuation of an air-fuel ratio in acceleration.
Synchronous injection control is performed to synchronously inject fuel in the quantity corresponding to the operating state, within a first crank angle range, and when a first accelerating state due to the change of throttle opening is detected, asynchronous injection control of fuel in the quantity corresponding to the first accelerating state is performed. When a point of time of detecting the first accelerating state is within the second crank angle range, asynchronous injection control based on a first fuel injection quantity to be asynchronously injected into the engine is immediately carried out. When the point of time of detecting the first accelerating state is not within the second crank angle range, the first fuel injection quantity is stored over a period until the start timing of the asynchronous injection control after detecting the first accelerating state, and at the start timing of the asynchronous injection control, the stored first fuel injection quantity is asynchronously injected into the engine within the second crank angle range.
