Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camcorder which prevents short-circuit detection processing due to the drop of a power supply voltage level from occurring and also performs effective servo control of a video recorder, when a power supply voltage level is high. SOLUTION: The power supply voltage of a battery power supply part 2 is detected by a power supply detection microcomputer 10 and is outputted to a servo control microcomputer 20. The microcomputer 20 decides servo pulse width modulation(PWM) output value, based on the start processing of a drive motor 70 or a result of stationary servo processing. Also, it calculates a limiter value that corresponds to the battery voltage detected by the microcomputer 10. Then, it limits the servo PWM output value below the limiter value by comparing the servo PWM output value with the limiter value. A DC-DC converter part 40 produces servo control voltage by a servo PWM signal from the microcomputer 20 and drives the motor 70 via a motor driver 60.
