To provide a coloring method for a decorative article capable of coloring a decorative three-dimensional molding, not using a harmful metal material such as haxavalent chromium or the like as a gloss agent like a metal plating.

The coloring method for a decorative article is for coloring a decorative three-dimensional molding 5 to be formed by a plurality of different flat surfaces and curved surfaces. The coloring method comprises a heating process P100 for heating a vapor-deposited film 5b (specifically a resin film material 510) prepared by laminating in order on one face of a base material 511 with a vapor-deposited layer 513 and a bonding layer 514 up to a softening temperature, and a drawing process P200 for pressing the vapor-deposited film 5b, after being arranged on the decorative three-dimensional molding 5 (specifically a ring-shaped resin part 5a), against the ring-shaped resin 5a by at least either vacuum pressure or compressed air pressure for bonding.
