To provide a heat exchange structure of carrying out heat exchange effectively inside a fuel cell.
The fuel cell 1 is constituted such that fuel gas 4 is supplied inside a cell tube of a cylindrical shape and oxidizer gas 6 is supplied to the fuel cell 8 provided on the outside of the cell tube 2, and by making the inside of the fuel cell a high temperature environment of 800-1,000°C, the fuel gas 4 and the oxidizer gas 6 are chemically reacted and power is generated. A core 13 is fixed by a current collector cap (not shown in the figure) inside the cell tube 2, and the passage of the fuel gas 4 is made narrower, and thereby the heat of the fuel gas 4 is conducted to the oxidizer gas 6 via a base tube 10 with high thermal conductivity and the oxidizer gas 6 is preheated sufficiently.
