To correct the positional deviation of a stereo image in real time in parallel with monitor control.
Correcting pars 5a and 5b performs the affine transformation of a stereoscopic image corresponding to the value of an affine parameter. A correction arithmetic part 13 sets a plurality of reference regions in a reference image outputted from a correcting part 5a, and calculates, for each reference area, matching point data including a horizontal position ir of the reference area in the reference image, a vertical deviation value dj between the reference area and the correlation destination, and a horizontal deviation value dpix between the reference area and the correlation destination. Then, a plane parameter for specifying a plane is calculated in an (ir, dj, dpix) space on the basis of a plurality of the matching point data, and the values of affine parameters θ1, θ2, and SHFTJ are corrected on the basis of the plane parameter.
