To provide a traffic information provision system, a terminal, a server, and a method previously and surely estimating the congestion state to a destination and the crowded state of the destination.

This traffic information provision system 100 is provided with a base station (server) 101, a plurality of mobile terminals 102, 103, and 104 wirelessly communicating with the base station 101, a fixed terminal 105 comprising a desktop PC, a route search system 106 calculating an optimal route connecting a start point to the destination, a road traffic information center 107 providing infrastructure information, a railway information center 108 providing railway information, and a tourism information center 109 providing surrounding facilities information. The base station (server) 101 collects information related to the destination, the route to the destination, the starting time, a number of persons, and a present position transmitted from the terminals 102, 103, 104, and 105, estimates the crowded states of the destination and the route to the destination at a specific day and time, and provides the collected information and the estimated information to the respective terminals.
