Abstract:
A forced null-weight calculating section (334) of a directivity control unit (31) corresponding to an objective mobile station the direction of which is unknown among multiplexed mobile stations calculates the forced null-weight for forming a directivity pattern where the direction of another mobile station is made a null point with respect to the objective mobile station. A power-down weight calculating section (335) of each of directivity control sections (32-34) corresponding to other mobile stations calculates the power-down weight for forming a directivity pattern for attenuating the transmission gain. A transmission signal adjusting section (350) of each of the directivity control sections transmits a signal to each mobile station through the directivity pattern formed by use of the calculated weight so as to ensure an appropriate S/I ratio for even a mobile station the direction of which is unknown and thereby to enable path-division multiplexing.
