Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a river cleaning apparatus capable of preventing the clogging by Sediment or dirt without deteriorating the previous advantage of river water cleaning by natural efflux. SOLUTION: This apparatus comprises a water level adjusting weir 7 installed in a river 1, a cleaning, water channel 2 having a water intake 3 installed at the upstream side of the water level adjusting weir 7 and a return hole 6 at the down flow side respectively, a cleaning facility 5 installed in the cleaning water channel 2, a dust collection screen 4 installed at the water intake 3 for removing the dust from water flowing to the cleaning water channel 2, and a moving type water stopping weir 8 for stopping the inflow of river water to the cleaning water channel 2.
