To provide medical waste treatment equipment which realizes improvement of uniform heating property, reduction of a processing time, simplification of an equipment main body, safety securing of a treatment container by microwave control, etc. in microwave heating treatment of medical waste.
The equipment is provided with: a pressure container 11 having an opening and closing lid 11a; a holding container 4 of a treatment bag 3 obtained by adding a solvent liquid to a matter to be heated 2 in the container 11; magnetrons 6 and 7 for microwave irradiation; a touch sensor 5 having a detection part to output the detection signal of expansion and contraction of the treatment bag 3; and a controller 8 for controlling the irradiation time of the microwaves with the detection signal of the touch sensor. The microwaves penetrates the matter to be heated 2 incorporated with the solvent liquid to its inside to uniformly heat inside. Since individual matters to be heated are in close contact with each other and a gap between the matters to be heated is buried with the solvent liquid, thermal conduction between the matters to be heated is improved to obtain uniform heating. The treated matter to be heated 2 can be taken out by each treatment bag 3 to be easy handled.
