Abstract:

To reduce cooling medium passing noise in a heating mode, in a valve gear of a refrigeration cycle for a vehicle for switching between the heating mode where gas cooling medium on the compression discharge side is introduced directly to an evaporator to radiate heat and a cooling mode where a low pressure cooling medium is evaporated by the evaporator to cool air.

A hot gas bypass passage 18 is disposed in a housing member 140 having valve means 15 and 16 for switching cooling medium flow between the cooling mode and the heating mode. The hot gas bypass passage 18 is arranged orthogonally to the direction of a throttle passage on the throttle passage outlet side of a decompressing device 17 for heating. The distance L from the throttle passage outlet end of the decompressing device 17 to a facing wall surface 18a of the hot gas bypass passage 18 facing to the outlet end is set two or more times longer than the diameter d of the throttle passage of the decompressing device 17.
