Abstract:

To provide a sentence analyzing device for classifying the tendency of a text.

The sentence analyzing device is provided with: a sentence segmentation means for dividing Japanese text data into sentence units; a morphemic analysis means; and a character type determination means for determining a character type. Whether at least either a binding particle or a particle "GA: Japanese syllabary" is included, and whether or not a subjectivity factor is included in a sentence is determined, and according to the combination thereof, character types of the sentence is classified into four types, that is, "subjectivity judgement sentence", "objectivity judgement sentence", "subjectivity state sentence" and "objectivity state sentence".
