Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the effect of masking. SOLUTION: The circuit is provided with an amplitude changing circuit 15 that changes the amplitude of a consonant component of a voice signal, a start point detection circuit 23 that detects a start point of a voiced sound of the voice signal, an end point detection circuit 23 that detects an end point of the voiced sound of the voice signal, a control circuit 24 that controls the gain of the amplitude change circuit 15. The control circuit 24 applies a control signal to the amplitude change circuit 15 to increase its gain when the start point detection circuit 23 detects a start point and applies a control signal to the amplitude change circuit 15 to restore its gain when the end point detection circuit 23 detects the end point.
