Title:
自動二輪車の外気温センサ並びにオイルクーラ配置構造
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP4080189
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a layout structure under consideration of an outside air temperature sensor and an oil cooler both. SOLUTION: A rod sensor is used for this outside air temperature sensor 27, and most part of the rod sensor is contained in a cowling 14, with a tip sensing part 39 of the rod sensor protruded out of the cowling 14 downward to be exposed. As a result, air currents 42 flowing along a nose part 41 of the cowling 14 as cooling air, get in contact with the sensing part 39 first, and then reaches the oil cooler 28. With the outside air temperature sensor 27 disposed upstream of the oil cooler 28 as a heat source, correct outside air temperature can be detected by the outside air temperature sensor 27. Since only the sensing part 39 is exposed from the cowling, a degree for the sensing part 39 to obstruct flow of air currents 42 is little. Whereas the outside air temperature sensor 27 is disposed at a front part, a sufficient quantity of air currents 42 can be supplied to the oil cooler 28.
