Abstract:
A dosing device for regulating the concentration in a carrier gas of a vaporous agent derived from a liquid source (1). The device comprises an on-off valve (3) which automatically operable by means of a valve controller (12) and which connectable to one or both sources of liquid (1) and carrier gas (9. A flow meter (10) is provided in the flow path of the liquid and generates an output signal proportional to the flow of the liquid supplied for vaporisation. This signal is passed to the controller (12) which cooperates with the valve (3) to automatically regulate the supply of one or both of the liquid or carrier gas dependent on the output signal.
