To provide a screen residue cleaning/dewatering machine where cleaning and dewatering for screen residues are efficiently performed only by compact one set, and further, the screen residues after the cleaning and dewatering can be subjected to long distance carrying to the following stage at low power without using the other carrying means.
Regarding the screen residue cleaning/dewatering machine, in a housing 4, a screw shaft 5 and screws 5a, 5b provided at the outer circumference of the screw shaft 5 are stored, from the inlet side toward the outlet side in the housing 4, a charge part 8 opened at the upper part of the housing 4 for charging screen residues, a cleaning zone 9 for cleaning the screen residues by screw cleaning water 15a, and a dewatering zone 10 for press-dewatering the screen residues after the cleaning by the rotation of the small pitch screw 5b are provided, and, further, for applying back pressure to the screen residues subjected to the press-dewatering, the outlet of the housing 4 is connected with a back pressure pipe 3 provided with an elbow part in which the inclination angle θ upward from the horizontal plane is formed so as to be 35 to 55 degrees and a straight pipe part whose diameter is widen at the rear of the elbow part.
