Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an emulsion composition for coating which includes an oxide having photocatalytic property, improving adhesivity of its coating film including the oxide having the photocatalytic property to a substrate to be treated. SOLUTION: This emulsion is obtained by emulsifying a mixture comprising (A) 100 pts.wt. of polyorganopolysiloxane including at least two hydroxy groups bonding to a silicon atom in the molecule, (B) 0.5 to 20 pts.wt. of a reaction product of an organoalkoxysilane including amino group and an acid anhydride, (C) 0.01 to 10 pts.wt. of a hardening catalyst, and (D) 10 to 400 pts.wt. of the photocatalytic oxide, in water in the presence of a surfactant.
