Abstract:
To provide a method for manufacturing a transparent film, particularly suitable for flat display panels.
A solution comprising 10-40 wt.% of a resin composition comprising (a) 1-99 wt.% of a maleimide-olefin copolymer having a specific structure, (b) 99-1 wt.% of an acrylonitrile-styrene copolymer having 21-45 wt.% of an acrylonitrile unit, and 90-60 wt.% of a solvent is cast onto a supporting substrate so as to evaporate the solvent from the cast film, wherein the solvent contains ≥70 wt.% of methylene chloride, and 1-15 wt.% of 1-6C linear or branched aliphatic alcohol.
