Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply, accurately and clearly regulate a sensitivity of what degree of an amplitude of a detected surge voltage a display is operated by selecting a fixed resistance of a different value by a changeover switch and regulating it. SOLUTION: An example of the case of using as a lightning display will be described. When a surge current flows to a steel tower according to a lightning so that a search coil 21 detects a surge voltage, the voltage is rectified by a rectifier circuit 35 having four diodes D1 to D4 connected in a bridge, and its current and voltage are integrated by a capacitor C1 of a switching circuit 37 via any of fixed resistors R1 to R6 of a sensitivity regulator 36. When the integrated voltage becomes a predetermined volt, a thyristor ScR is turned ON, a current flows to a solenoid 33b, a plunger 33 is operated, a case bottom plate is opened down, and a display cloth is suspended. The sensitivity can be regulated to six stags by selecting any of fixed resistors R1 to R6 set to different resistance values by the switch 34 of the regulator 36.
