Abstract:

To make a fuel cell stably generate electric power even at an altitude with a low atmospheric pressure or under an environment of a high temperature.

A power generation current I generated at a fuel cell stack 12 and supplied from a current supplier 22 to a traveling motor 16 to be a load is controlled by a control part 30 in response to atmospheric pressure Pa and a temperature Ta of air supplied to a cathode electrode of the stack 12. Herewith, an outlet side temperature of a compressor 24 can be controlled not higher than an outlet side acceptable temperature, and stable electric power generation may be achieved. That is, if the atmospheric pressure Pa is lowered at the altitude in a low air density, or under environment in the high temperature Ta, the stable electric power generation may be achieved by restricting the power generation current I.
