Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the size of the building of an on-load tap changing transformer, while the insulating oil in a transformer oil tank is prevented from flowing out of the tank and losing its insulating ability, when the liquid-tightness of a changeover switch housing tank is broken. SOLUTION: A conservator 15, which is provided for a transformer oil tank 2 housing a transformer main body 5, is positioned on the rooftop of a building 1, and a conservator 16 which is provided for a changeover switch housing tank 7 housing a changeover switch 9 is positioned in the building 1. A rising section 23a is provided to a breathing pipe 3 connected to the top of the conservator 16, in such a way that the upper end of the section 23a is made larger in height than the upper limit of the oil level L1 in the conservator 15.
