Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute an automatic operation control by providing a person sensor for sensing the presence or absence of a human body in an air conditioner, and providing a switch for selecting whether an output of the sensor is considered to an air conditioning operation or not in a remote controller. SOLUTION: A self-control switch 58 is provided in a remote controller R, and the switch 58 is operated to select whether a self-control operation is executed or not. When the self-control operation is executed, the controller R decides whether a person is excited in a room or not based on a sensing operation of a person sensor, decides bright or dark based on the sensing operation of a photosensor and automatically switches to 'normal', 'stop', 'mild' or 'pleasant sleep' of four operation modes. In the normal mode, cooling, heating or drying operation set by an operation changeover switch 62 are executed at a set temperature by a temperature set switches 54, 56.
