Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a knowledge storage support system capable of freely setting how to display a hierarchical relationship among messages stored as knowledge to one another. SOLUTION: A community server 122 classifies and stores messages exchanged between users with each other on a virtual community in each topic. The community server 122 is provided with a message hierarchy displaying and setting part 129 and provides each user with a mechanism that selects how to display a message posted to a thread of the virtual community by the each user, i.e., its hierarchy displaying method and also sets a hierarchical level. For that purpose, the message hierarchy displaying and setting part 129 uses a message table 206 of community management information 124 to manage the message hierarchy displaying method in each community and also in each thread and sets the presence/absence of hierarchy display of the message table 206 and a hierarchical level in the case of the presence of the hierarchy display in response to a request of the each user.
