Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extract data from one or plural places on a computer screen through an easy operation and to print them in an attractive state on proper tape type recording paper which is suitably to be left as a memo, etc. SOLUTION: A printer 5 which prints on the tape type recording paper is built in a mouse 4. When the range of document information on the display screen 3a is specified with the mouse 4, the document information is temporarily stored in the memory of a computer main body 1. An operation picture is displayed on the display screen 3a through button operation of the mouse 4 and when printing is indicated in the operation picture, print information corresponding to the document information stored in the memory is transferred to the printer 5 and printed on the recording paper. The range specification of document information by the mouse 4 and the indication of temporary storage in the operation picture are repeated and the printing is indicated in the operation picture finally, so that the document information is selectively extracted form plural places on the display screen 3a and printed on the tape type recording paper in an attractive state.
