Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adjuster for the charged state of a battery pack which prevents an excess of discharge of cells performed for removing the variation of an intercell voltage (or charged states such as capacities for example), such as ON lock for example of bypass switches for on/off operation of bypass discharge, in accordance with suppressing complication of a circuit formation. SOLUTION: Since discharge can be inhibited even if variation reduction control malfunctions, compulsory inhibit of the discharge of unit cells is performed by a variation reduction portion by a method independent of the operation of a control circuit. When a specified unsuitable discharge state (including periodic operation) occurs, the variation of the intercell voltage can be removed, ensuring overdischarge prevention of the battery.
