Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stent which can be extended with comparatively weak extension force and in which the extension can be done as uniformly as possible in the axial direction. SOLUTION: This stent 11 can be manufactured by etching a metal cylinder, and cutting the same by laser beam machining, and is formed like a cylinder as a whole in which plural wavy spiral members 14 formed by connecting plural S-like parts 12 to each other by a connecting part 13 obliquely in the axial direction are arranged in parallel multi-spirally, and wavy circumferential members 15 for connecting the spiral members 14 to each other in the circumferential direction are arranged at least at the both end parts of the spiral members 14. Preferably one end and the other end of the spiral member 14 are connected to the circumferential member 15 at different angle positions seen in the axial direction.
