Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve energy and output densities by including a cyclic carbonate compound, at least one kind of an alkylmonocarbonate compound and an alkylenebiscarbonate compound, and a phosphorus-containing organic compound in an organic solvent. SOLUTION: This battery electrolyte includes an alkylmonocarbonate compound in an organic solvent is indicated by formula I. In formula I, R1 and R2 are each the same or different alkyl group, with the carbon number of at least one of them >=3. An alkylenebiscarbonate compound is indicated by formula II. In formula II, R1 and R2 are each the same or different 1-4C alkyl group, and R3 is a linear or branched 1-3C alkylene group. The electrolyte contains both two kinds of compounds and its content is preferably 5 to 50 vol.% when the total mass of the organic solvent is 100 vol.%.
