Abstract:

To obtain a radio transmission instrument that can presume propagation path characteristics with high precision.

The radio transmission instrument adopts a multi-carrier transmission system, and receives a known signal for presuming the propagation path characteristics for each subcarrier along with transmit data from a transmitter. For example, the instrument comprises: a delayed profile estimator 10 that presumes a delayed profile by performing relative processing between reception signals on all delayed paths existing within a specific time range and the known signal; a Fast Fourier Transform operation section 11 that presumes the propagation path characteristics for each subcarrier based on the delayed profile; and a weighting factors calculation section 12 that computes synthetic weight for demodulating multicarrier code division multiple access signals from the presumed result of the propagation path characteristics.
