A terminal device 10 inquires free space first (s51), and receives the free space response data transmitted in accordance with the inquiry (s52). Then an IP address specified each free space response data and the data table for registering the free space are created (s53). Further a data file is archived in parallel with the processing to create the archived data (s54), and the archived data is encrypted to create the encrypted data (s55). After the processing of S53 and s55, the backup data is created (s56), and the identification data is added to the backup data (s57) and transmitted (s58). The terminal device 10 receiving the backup data, stores the backup data in an HD 14.
