Title:
アクリル系熱硬化性粉体塗料組成物
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP4205365
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
The acrylic thermosetting powder coating compositions comprise: a glycidyl group-containing acrylic resin (A) which comprises at least one glycidyl copolymer (a) modified with a carboxyl compound (C) and which may contain an unmodified glycidyl copolymer (a), these modified and unmodified glycidyl copolymers (a) having glycidyl groups and/or beta -methyl glycidyl groups; and a polyvalent carboxyl compound (B) as a curing agent component, the above carboxyl compound (C) being at least one compound selected from the group consisting of fatty acids, oxyacids and polyvalent carboxyl compounds. ?>The acrylic thermosetting powder coating compositions can be obtained in enhanced homogeneity by a conventional compounding technique so that they have an improved compatibility particularly with polyesteric thermosetting powder coatings without any deterioration in appearance properties (smoothness, high gloss, etc.), physical properties (hardness, mar/scratch resistance, etc.) and chemical properties (acid resistance, solvent resistance, etc.) of the resultant coating films.
