To provide a method for safely treating a waste product such as various kind of devices, e.g., a trans and a condenser possessing a hardly decomposable harmful substance such as PCB, a waste liquid and a waste oil as a constitution member or a part thereof, and various kind of containers, e.g., an oil drum and a box storing the harmful substance as a content or a part thereof without flowing the harmful substance to the outside.
In the treatment method, the waste product such as the various kinds of devices, e.g., the trans and the condenser possessing the hardly decomposable harmful substance such as PCB, the waste liquid and the waste oil as the constitution member or the part thereof, and the various containers, e.g., the oil drum and the box storing the harmful substance as the content or the part thereof is cast into a fusion furnace 2 as a fuel in the state that it is not subjected to cutting/dismantling treatment, and is melted at high temperatures. Thereby, the harmful substance is thermally decomposed to be detoxified.
