To calculate consumed calorie in a walking route zone on a guidance route, and distribute useful advertisement information to a user based on the consumed calorie.

A navigation system 10 includes: an advertisement information database 37 for storing the advertisement information per category; a consumed calorie calculating means 33 for calculating an estimated consumed calorie based on a distance of the walking route zone included in the route; an advertisement category selecting means 32 for selecting the category of the advertisement in response to the estimated consumed calorie; and a reference storing means 381 for storing a reference, and calculates the estimated consumed calorie based on the distance and a gradient of the walking route zone included in a candidate route searched by a route searching means 39 if the user moves along the route. The advertisement category selecting means 32 compares the estimated consumed calorie with the reference stored in the reference storing means 381, selects the category of the advertisement, obtains advertisement data in the corresponding category from the advertisement information database 37, and displays it along with the estimated consumed calorie.
