Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a socket for an electric parts in which damage of a contact pin or the like is prevented in housing the electric parts. SOLUTION: In an IC socket which has a socket main body 13 wherein a housing face part 17a to house an IC package is formed, in which a contact pin 15 having a contact part 15c connected with and disconnected with a terminal of the IC package is arranged and installed at this socket main body 13, and in which a moving member 16 is installed to elastically deform this contact pin 15 and to shunt the contact part 15c from an insertion range of the terminal of the IC package, this is constituted so that plural insertion openings 17c into which the terminals of the IC package are inserted is formed at the housing face part 17a, and on the other hand so that the contact part 15c of the contact pin 15 is shunted to a position which cannot be seen from the insertion opening 17c in a plane view, when pushed by the moving member 16 and shunted from the insertion range.
