Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a device for fermenting org. waste with which the org. waste is uniformly heated and efficiently fermented in a short time. SOLUTION: A vapor supply pipe 3 is connected to the jacket 2 of a ferementation tank 1 through pressure-reducing valves 17 and 18. A liq. forced feeder 4 is connected to the lower part of the jacket 2 through a pipe 27. A low-temp. vapor at <=100 deg.C is supplied into the jacket 2, and the waste held in the fermentation tank 1 is fermented by a large heat capacity retained by the vapor.
