Abstract:

To provide a water-retentive porous concrete formed body having both water permeability and water retentivity with high strength and capable of suppressing heat island phenomenon in an urban district and a method of manufacturing the same.

The water-retentive porous concrete formed body is constituted so as to incorporate a crushed material of a woody material and a cement hardened body as aggregate for the porous concrete. The manufacturing method is performed by mixing 30-200 pts.wt.crushed material of the woody material and the cement hardened body with 100 pts.wt. cement, and further mixing the blending quantity of 0-200 pts.wt. aggregate and/or an admixture and 10-30 pts.wt. water, kneading, compacting into a prescribed molding frame and instantaneously removing the molding from the frame and aging.
