To provide a vending machine capable of preventing bills put in a bill validator disposed on an inner surface of the external door from being stolen.

In the vending machine 1 to which a bill validator 34 is disposed on the inner surface of the external door 3 through a fitting member 31 to which a bill insertion slot 30 that is exposed to the external surface of the external door 3 is disposed, a reinforcement member 33 in which an insertion slot 36 through which bills are inserted is formed is interposed between the fitting member 31 and the bill validator 34. This arrangement can prevent the bills put in the bill validator 34 from being stolen by such deeds as putting a tool such as a bar into the bill insertion slot 30 and expanding the slot to the bill storage part of the bill validator 34, and as expanding the bill insertion slot 30 with a tool such as a bar and picking up bills from the bill validator 34 with a tool such as tweezers.
