To provide a recording medium which is capable of measuring blood sugar and is used for a system which utilizes the recording medium attached to a portable remote terminal as a blood sugar measuring apparatus and connects the portable remote terminal and a server to control the blood sugar information received from the portable remote terminal to a network to provide a two-way service between the above two.
The recording medium 1 includes a sensor circuit section 11 to generate an electric current according to the blood-sugar levels in the blood and a controlling section 13 which converts the data of the generated electric current digitized by a signal processing section 12 to the blood-sugar levels data to be written into an EEPROM 14 being a recording section, and reads out the blood-sugar levels data from the EEPROM 14 to be transmitted to the portable remote terminal to be attached by the recording medium 1 through a communication control section 16. The recording medium 1 further includes a power source controlling section 18 which receives the power source from the portable remote terminal to be attached by the recording medium 1 and supplies the power source to individual sections in the recording medium 1.
