Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide light emitting equipment, which can suppress degradation by the penetration of moisture or oxygen, and has the light emitting element, which has been formed on a plastic substrate. SOLUTION: On the plastic substrate, two or more films (henceforth, barrier film), which prevent oxygen and moisture from entering into the organic luminescence layer of the light emitting element, and a film with stress smaller than the above barrier film (stress relief film), is prepared between the above barrier films. By carrying out the laminating of two or more barrier films, even if a crack arises on the barrier film, moisture and oxygen can be prevented from entering into the organic luminescence layer effectively by other barrier films. Moreover, by sandwiching the stress relief film, which has smaller stress compared with a barrier film, between the barrier films, then, the stress of the whole sealing films can be eased, and the crack by stress cannot enter easily.
