To provide a fuel supply device for an internal combustion engine for avoiding an air-fuel ratio from being too rich or lean after recovery from fuel cut by suppressing fuel pressure rise in a fuel pipe during fuel cut and adequately controlling fuel pressure in the fuel pipe after recovery from fuel cut.
The fuel supply device comprises a fuel pump drive mechanism 7 for adjusting supply voltage to a fuel pump 10, and a fuel pump feedback control means for controlling the fuel pump drive mechanism 7. The fuel pump feedback control means performs integration operation corresponding to a detected value for fuel pressure Fp in the fuel pipe 14 and an operated condition, and drives the fuel pump drive mechanism 7 to control the supply voltage to the fuel pump so that the fuel pressure in the fuel pipe corresponds to target fuel pressure. The fuel pump feedback control means has a fuel pump supply voltage increasing control means for temporarily increasing the supply voltage to the fuel pump 10 when recovering from fuel cut, depending on the detected value for the fuel pressure when recovering from fuel cut.
