Abstract:

To correctly detect a crank angle under such a condition that an influence by a manufacture error of a rotor mounted on a crankshaft is eliminated, to thereby estimate a combustion state of an internal combustion engine correctly.

There are provided: a crank angle sensor 38 for detecting the crank angle and the rotor 39; a combustion state quantity acquisition means to acquire the quantity of combustion state (estimated illustrated torque Ti) showing the combustion state of each cylinder based on the crank angle; a deviation acquisition means to classify all the cylinders of the internal combustion engine into a plurality of cylinder groups according to the estimated illustrated torques Tiand to acquire the steady deviation ΔT generated between the estimated illustrated torques Ticorresponding to the respective cylinder groups; and a combustion state quantity correction means to correct the estimated illustrated torque Tibased on the deviation ΔT.
