Abstract:
To provide an ammonia synthesis catalyst which is chemically and thermally stable and has high ammonia synthesis activity and to provide a manufacturing method of the catalyst.
The ammonia synthesis catalyst is formed by using oxide containing alumina as a carrier. Alumina is α-alumina and is manufactured by burning hydroxide of aluminum and barium obtained by bringing an aluminum compound and a barium compound into a hydrothermal reaction by a reversed micelle process.
