Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a printing system possible to quickly deal with the state of a printer performing printing or a fault that takes place by providing a user interface which is easily understood by respective users thereby decreasing malfunctions. SOLUTION: This printing system consists of a data processor provided with a driver for generating print job data and the printer for printing the received print job data. The driver of the data processor is provided with an attaching means for attaching data for customization with which the display of a displaying means provided in the printer is customized to the print job data. The printer consists of the displaying means, an analyzing means for analyzing the data for customization received from the data processor and a display controlling means for reflecting analysis results by the analyzing means in the display of the displaying means.
