To provide an extended operation device, capable of adding a sensor to an operating device while using the other device connected to the operation device as it is.
The extended operation device, for example, a gyro sensor unit 100 includes connectors 106 and 108, and a gyro sensor 104. The connector 106 includes a first shape capable of physically and electrically connecting a connector 42 of a first controller 34, and the gyro sensor unit 100 is connected to the first controller 34 through the connectors 42 and 106. The connector 108 includes a second shape capable of connecting a connector having the first shape, and a connector 40 of a second controller 36 which was connected to the connector 42 can be connected also to the connector 108. Therefore, when the connector 108 is connected to the connector 40 in a state where the connector 106 is connected to the connector 42, the second controller 36 is consequently connected to the first controller 34 through the gyro sensor unit 100. Accordingly, the gyro sensor can be added to the first controller while the second controller connected to the first controller is used as it is.
