To provide a medium handling device, which improves the page turning accuracy of a bankbook.

This medium handling device is equipped with a turn page roller assembly 5 coaxially provided with idle rollers 7 for conveying the bankbook and turn page rollers 8, each of which neighbors on each idle roller 7 and has a projecting part made of high friction member projected beyond the peripheral surface of the idle roller 7 under the condition that each pressing feed roller 6 is provided at a position opposing to both the idle roller 7 and the projecting part of the turn page roller 8. When the turn page rollers 8 revolve under the condition that the bankbook is kept at a stop state being pressed by the idle rollers 7 and the pressing feed rollers 6, the projecting parts made of high friction member come into contact with the topmost page of the bankbook so as to turn the page.
