Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for regulating a tension of a strip-like extrusion material capable of obtaining extrudates each having equivalent length and stably dimensional accuracy. SOLUTION: Reference numeral 1 denotes an extruder; 2, a die (mold); 3, the apparatus for regulating the tension of the strip-like extrusion material W of a substantially triangular sectional shape having different thicknesses at both ends in a lateral section extruded from the extruder 1 (in this embodiment, a bead filler used as a tire constituting material is used, but this is not limited to the particular material); and 4, a molding machine of next step such as, for example, a bead molding machine. The apparatus 3 has a tension regulating roll 5 formed in a substantially truncated conical sectional state, an oscillating arm 6 rotatable at its tension regulating roll 5 and horizontally supporting a shaft center O, and a stand 7 for rotatably supporting the arm 6.
