Abstract:
To provide a device having more flexibility, in a USB storage device having a CD-ROM area allowing reading of information and a disk area allowing any of reading, writing and deletion of information.
A storage area of the USB storage device is divided into at least three areas, and a user can select the number of drives made to be set by an OS, and any of the areas associated to the drive. One of the drives is set as a CD-ROM drive. A removable drive can be set.
