A Fig. A shows a current value and a target value of information are matched. As in B, for example, a user operates a mouse, keyboard or the like to change the display position of a slider S2 for the target value. That is, a target value of control desired by the user is set. As in C, once the control is started, the display position of a slider S1 for the current value is gradually changed toward the display position of the slider S2. As in D, the display positions of the sliders S1 and S2 are matched to explicitly show that the current value of information has reached the desired value to complete the control. This method can facilitate the recognition of the current value and the target value set by the user in the process of control and facilitate the confirmation of the status of the controlled object to eliminate the risk of unnecessarily confusing the user and explicitly show the completion of control.
