Abstract:
To provide an outer plate member for a railroad vehicle capable of minimizing the fraction size of an outer plate forming a forefront part of the railroad vehicle, and forming the forefront part with good appearance by reducing welding amount and suppressing the generation of distortion.
In the outer plate member for the railroad vehicle, an outer plate of the forefront part having a curved surface shape of a forefront vehicle of the railroad vehicle are divided into plural pieces. The outer plate is molded while elongating a longitudinal direction of a metallic plate blanked in a rectangular shape which is long in a rail direction and short in a circumferential direction.
