To provide a highly reliable and safe cylindrical solid oxide fuel cell endurable to thermal expansion differences and heat cycles.
The cylindrical solid oxide-type fuel cell has: a gas distributor composed of a gas supply container; and a long and slender gas introduction tube to supply the gas into the sealed tip interior of the cylindrical solid oxide-type fuel cell and to be communicated with this gas supply container. The connection part of the gas introduction tube and the gas supply container is formed of: a gas introduction tube flange installed at one end of the gas introduction tube; a connecting hole which is installed at a connecting wall that becomes the baseline wall to fix and support this gas introduction tube flange, which has a larger diameter than the external diameter of the gas introduction tube, and into which this gas introduction tube is inserted; a pressure retaining means to give a homogeneous face pressure from upward of the gas introduction tube flange; and a contact stress relaxation means to rotatably support the gas introduction tube flange as the supporting point.
