To provide a dry battery housing structure that can maintain a good contact state of the dry battery without being affected by the dimension tolerance of the dry battery, even if an outside force such as impact is inflicted on the electronic equipment from outside.
A housing part 15 for housing the dry battery 10 in which a protrusion 12 is formed at the positive electrode 11 is provided on the camera 14. The positive electrode terminal 16 of this housing part 15 is cut in V-shape and a support part 17 that contacts the side wall 12W of the protrusion 12 is formed. Since the side wall 12W of the protrusion 12 is made to contact the positive electrode terminal 16 of the housing part 15 utilizing the protrusion 12 provided at the positive electrode 11 of the dry battery 10, looseness likely to happen between the battery and the housing part 15 can be eliminated. Thereby, even if an outside force such as impact is inflicted from outside on the housing part 15 while the dry battery 10 is housed, the contact state of the positive electrode terminal 16 of the housing part 15 and the positive electrode 11 of the dry battery 10 can be maintained in good condition.
